The intricately carved idol of Ramlalla, crafted by the skilled hands of sculptor Arun Yogi Raj, is ready to be enshrined in the sanctum sanctorum on January 18, a day considered auspicious in the Hindu calendar. The idol, measuring about 51 inches in height, depicts Lord Ram in his childhood form, playing atop a lotus flower with a divine glow illuminating his serene face.

The culmination of years of dedication and hard work, the Ram Temple stands as a testament to the unity and faith of the people. The entire nation is gearing up for the grand celebration, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to officiate the inauguration ceremony on January 22.

The festivities extend beyond Ayodhya, with sacred soil and water from every corner of India brought to Ayodhya for the construction of the temple. The doors and pillars of the Ramlalla Temple will be adorned with golden engravings, adding to its grandeur.

As the final moments leading to the inauguration unfold, Ayodhya is witnessing a surge in devotees' excitement. Elaborate preparations include the lighting of a colossal lamp, standing at 108 feet, brought from Gujarat. Additionally, 56 different types of pedas and 1,265 kilogrammes of laddoos are being offered as part of the rituals.

The inauguration week also features various religious ceremonies, including a holy dip in the Sarayu River, Vishnu Puja, and the offering of prasad to the sacred cow. The festivities are set to continue until January 21.
