Actress Swastika Mukherjee's Facebook Account Got Hacked, Alerted Everyone Through A Post

Renowned actress Swastika Mukherjee, celebrated in both Tollywood and Bollywood, finds herself amidst a cybercrime incident, shaking her usual tranquility. Known for her roles in various acclaimed films and shows, Mukherjee's Facebook account recently fell prey to hacking, leaving her understandably distressed.

Taking swift action, Mukherjee promptly informed her followers via her verified Instagram account, urging vigilance among her fans and acquaintances. Her active presence on social media, from personal insights to professional updates, has always garnered significant attention. However, this marks Mukherjee's first encounter with such an ordeal, as various celebrity profiles have been targeted in recent times, resulting in a loss of followers and trust.

In a Wednesday morning Instagram post, Mukherjee addressed the incident, stating, “My Facebook page has been HACKED. My team is working on solving the issue. In case you come across any post demeaning, or obscene, kindly ignore and know that it’s not me :).”

Fortunately, Mukherjee's Facebook page has not displayed any offensive or inappropriate content thus far. Her latest post featured a teaser for the upcoming Hindi film 'Love, Sex, Dhokha 2' or LSD 2, directed by Dibakar Banerjee. Mukherjee shared the teaser on April 1st, hinting at her involvement in the film's sequel.

The first installment of 'LSD' was released approximately 14 years ago, in 2010, and Mukherjee remains an integral part of its sequel. Sources suggest that the film is slated for release on April 19th next year.
