Rafiath Rashid Mithila is a Bangladeshi actress, singer, author and development worker. She has been working in both the film industries of Bangladesh and Kolkata; working in films, short films and web-series. She is the head of the Early Childhood Development programme in BRAC, in which she pursued her second Master’s apart from another Master’s in Political Science. She is also pursuing her PhD in Early Childhood Development.
Mithila happens to be an embodiment of versatility – she’s an educationist, a social worker, actress, musician and most importantly a mother. She manages her time brilliantly and excels at whatever she takes part in, be it music, acting or academics. Coming from Bangladesh, she has seen both the Banglas very closely and has a huge fan following in both the places. Recently she has acted in the film ‘Maya’ where she has played a very bold character, one that is a lot different from her usual on-screen roles.
