Director Kingshuk Dey’s film 'The Red Files' is being made based on the Bantala rape case. Earlier too we have seen films being made in the Bengali Entertainment industry on the violence against women, but films on such true events are rare in nature. Considering this fact, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the audience about the film. Actress Mumtaz Sarkar has played the role of a female police officer in the film and her character is of prime importance. Bidipta Chakraborty and Kinjal Nanda will be seen in the roles of lawyers in the film. The poster and first look of the film was recently released in the presence of the film's director and rest of the crew at the poster launch event. Actress Mumtaz Sarkar interacted with the reporters about the film and her character during the event. The camera work has been dealt by Subhdeep Naskar and the music has been directed by Soumya Rit. Veteran musician Nachiketa's song will be a part of this film which will be voiced by Soumya Rit.
