Veteran Tollywood Actor Partha Sarathi Deb Was Hospitalised For 37 Days, What Happened To Him?

Renowned Tollywood actor Partha Sarathi Deb, well-known for his contributions to Bengali cinema, is currently undergoing treatment at the M.R. Bangur Hospital in South Kolkata. The 68-year-old actor has been on ventilator support due to deteriorating health conditions.

According to industry sources, Partha Sarathi has been admitted to the hospital for the past month, battling various health complications. Actor Bapi Das revealed that Partha Sarathi was hospitalised on February 9 last year due to complications related to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He has been suffering from COPD for an extended period, along with respiratory infections and pneumonia.

Despite experiencing symptoms, Partha Sarathi initially resisted hospitalisation, but his condition worsened over time, compelling his family to seek medical intervention. Diganta Bagchi, the joint secretary of the Artists' Forum, shared that Partha Sarathi's health initially deteriorated due to persistent coughing, which eventually led to his hospitalisation.

Partha Sarathi's illness has deeply concerned his colleagues and well-wishers in the entertainment industry. They are all fervently hoping for his speedy recovery.
