In a dazzling event at Nandan, the first poster and sneak peek of the eagerly awaited film 'Pradhan' were revealed on Friday. The star-studded launch saw the presence of leading actors, including Dev, Paran Banerjee, Koneenica Banerjee, Anirban Chakraborty, Mamata Shankar, Biswanath Basu, and many others.
Directed by Abhijit Sen, 'Pradhan' takes Dev into the role of a police officer after his recent venture in Baghajatin. Set to release in December of the coming year, the film promises an intriguing storyline.
The official launch event witnessed the unveiling of the film's first poster, showcasing Paran Banerjee, Dev, and Anirban Chakraborty. Dev, donning a khaki police uniform, hints at a gripping performance in his new avatar.
Director Abhijit Sen expressed his excitement, stating, "Pradhan has given me the opportunity to work with two of my favourite actors, Dev and Paran. It's a special Christmas for me, and the entire cast has put in tremendous effort to make this film appealing to the audience."
Earlier this week, Dev shared a behind-the-scenes image on social media, marking the end of the shooting. He hinted at a planned post-production phase, leaving fans eager for the big reveal.
The film also stars Soumitrisha Kundu, popularly known for her role in the TV serial 'Mithai,' in a contrasting role opposite Dev. While Soumitrisha has gained acclaim for her sweet character, 'Pradhan' presents her in a new light. The film is anticipated to add a fresh spark to her acting journey.
Despite being absent on the poster launch day due to health concerns, Soumitrisha Kundu is expected to bring a unique charm to the film, showcasing a different dynamic between her and Dev.
