Tata Motors is gearing up to make a significant splash in the Indian automobile market with its upcoming offering, the Tata Altroz Racer. With its sporty design, impeccable looks, and smart features, this car is set to challenge its competitors head-on.
Recently, Tata unveiled a teaser for the Altroz Racer, hinting at a remarkable entry into the hatchback segment.
When can we expect the launch of this car? It's been heard that bookings will commence in a few days, followed by the official launch of the Altroz Racer in the market.
What features can we expect from this car?
This vehicle was unveiled at the 'Auto Expo 2023', where several features were showcased. From a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system to wireless phone charging, multiple drive modes, wireless smartphone connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats, the Altroz Racer promises a plethora of features.
Additionally, it's rumoured to come with a sunroof, blacked-out roof, ORVMs, and alloy wheels, adding to its style quotient. Safety features are also expected to be top-notch in the Altroz Racer.
On the performance front, it's said to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine capable of producing up to 118 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque, mated with a 6-speed gearbox. Not only safety but also performance are poised to be a highlight of this car.
What about the price? Reports suggest that the Tata Altroz Racer could be priced around 10 lakh INR (ex-showroom). Furthermore, there are murmurs about an electric version launching soon after.
But the journey doesn't end with the launch of this car. Tata Motors plans to follow up with the Tata Curvv and Tata Harrier EV versions after the Altroz Racer's launch.
