Notably, Sharmila Tagore, celebrated for her role in Satyajit Ray's 'Apur Sansar,' has been capturing hearts not only in West Bengal but also across the border. The festival witnessed her presence as a distinguished guest, bringing a touch of glamour and grace to the event.

Adding a touch to her visit, Sharmila Tagore seized the opportunity to meet with Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the Government House. Joining her were fellow actors Mamata Shankar, Swastika Mukherjee, and director Sohini Ghosh.

Notably, the narrative revolves around the poignant story of a mother and daughter.
