We all know that Tanuja Mukherjee is making her comeback in Parambrata Chattopadhyay’s upcoming fourth directorial ‘Sonar Pahar’. She will be playing the role of a septuagenarian woman.
Do you know that the story behind ‘Sonar Pahar’ is inspired by Param’s relationship with his mother Sunetra Ghatak? Their edgy relationship will probably be portrayed in this movie.
Jisshu Sengupta will be playing the role of Tanuja’s son. The story is about a mother-son relationship. The story takes a turn when Parambrata visits Tanuja with a little kid of seven years and the lady could not help but develop a separate bonding with the kiddo. Arunima Ghosh will be playing the role of Jisshu’son-screen wife.
‘Sonar Pahar’ is mainly shot in Sikkim and North Bengal apart from Kolkata. Neel Dutt has done the music and background score of the movie.
