Ramoji Rao Death: Media Tycoon And Ramoji Film City Founder, Ramoji Rao Passes Away At 87

Ramoji Rao, the famous media tycoon and the founder of Ramoji Film City, passed away on Friday night, i.e., on June 7 in Hyderabad while receiving medical treatment. On June 5, the 87-year-old was brought to a hospital in Hyderabad because of problems with his breathing and high blood pressure. There, up until his passing, he had been receiving treatment.

For many people, Ramoji Rao was also known as Cherukuri Ramoji Rao. He founded Ramoji Film City, the biggest film studio in the world, in 1996. He also owned a media company called Ushakiran Movies. He won national awards and produced films in a number of languages.

Many people in the telegu media, and entertainment industries have expressed grief over the news of Ramoji's passing. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi both sent their condolences through social media.

According to PM Narendra Modi, he is deeply saddened by the death of Shri Ramoji Rao Guru. Modi stated that media tycoon Ramoji Rao was a visionary who transformed Indian media. His significant contributions to journalism and the film industry have had an enduring effect. He raised the standard for creativity and quality in the media and entertainment industries with his remarkable efforts. Ramoji Rao Guru had a deep dedication to the development of India. He expresses gratitude for the numerous opportunities he's had to engage with him and gain from his experience. In this difficult period, the PM extends his condolences to his family, friends, and countless admirers.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on the other hand, expressed her sadness at hearing the demise of media tycoon Ramoji Rao. He was the founder and head of the Eenadu group, the ETV network, and a large film city. According to her, he was a torchbearer for Telugu and entertainment world. She mentioned that she used to know him well and had personal memories of him; she still had pleasant memories of the time he invited her to his studio, where she visited with him and a state leader. She sends her deepest sympathies to his friends, family, and countless supporters.
