'Pradhan' Bengali Movie Takes on North Bengal for Shooting

The shooting of the upcoming Bengali Film 'Pradhan' by director Abhijit Sen has already started. However, most of the shooting of the Film will be in different locations in North Bengal.

This film will be full of stars. Television actress Soumitrisha Kundu will be acting as the heroine of Dev. Soham Chakraborty and Anirban Chakraborty will be playing important roles. Apart from them, Savitri Chatterjee, Paran Banerjee, Kharaj Mukherjee, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Mamata Shankar, Kaninika Banerjee, Sohini Sengupta, etc. will be there in this film. The whole unit is also looking forward to and extremely excited to shoot with these stars together.

The film's producer, Atanu Roychowdhury, said that he is not too worried. He told the media agency, "There is no tension with the film shooting. But I am extremely excited about the shooting with such big stars. According to him, not only is the outdoor location shooting, but it looks like the entire shooting of the film will be in North Bengal.

The director of the film, Abhijit Sen, is also excited about shooting in North Bengal. He said, "Earlier during 'Tonic' we did the shooting in the hills. It seems that the next few days will be very good with everyone." The director, at the same time, said that the background of this film is mountains because the story is based on that. He also said, "Actually, I think there are so many good locations in this state that there is no special need to shoot outside Bengal."

Dev is playing the role of a police officer in 'Pradhan'. The character's name is Deepak Pradhan. Producer Atanu does not want to reveal anything more now. He said, "This will be a Family Film. Bengali films of such a large scale have not been made in the recent past. I can say that just like 'Tonic' and 'Projapati' won the hearts of the audience, the audience is going to get something new in this film." 

After a long time, Shantanu Maitra will again work with Bengali music through the 'Pradhan' Film. Producer Atanu is delighted to convince him.

The director will start shooting the film in North Bengal on August 30. The shooting will continue for 21 days. The film is scheduled to release next Christmas.
