The feeder boxes are places which people find appropriate for spitting. The feeder boxes are generally dull and full of handbills pasted on them. But now, the feeder boxes on the streets of the city of joy are all set for a change. They are being painted with posters of Rays's movies, as Lake Shiv temple and the area beside it, is the place where Ray resided till the late 70's.
The initiative taken by CESC is a wonderful way of revisiting the golden era of Bengali Cinema. It would be a visual delight to see posters of films like, Joy Baba Felunath, Charulata and Aranyer Din Rattir on the city steets. The initiatives taken for such beautification projects shall make the city more visually attractive and make the people of the city of joy... much more joyful.
