NRI initiative to flourish Bengal

A non-resident Indian has sketched an elaborate scheme for underprivileged people of Bengal.  Deb Prasanna Choudhury has made a plan where healthcare, education and environment care will be incorporated together.

More than 20 lakhs patients have been medicated in the past 20 years at Bolpur. Specialist, doctors, medical services including Mobile medical units are provided in the villages free of cost.

For Students between classes V-XII coaching centres set ups are available with experienced teachers who provide quality education. Computer centre has set up to provide high quality computer diploma and professional training courses. To make poor and unaided women self-reliant, tailoring school provides free training for one year. Students who are pursuing professional examination are also helped by professionals. Tree plantation of the surroundings is being cared to make environment greener.
