June officially starts in two days, and a new month is about to begin. Numerous additional regulations will be implemented in India starting next month. Starting on June 1, from driver's licenses to Aadhaar cards, many official documents will be undergoing significant changes.
Let's start with the updates to Aadhaar cards:
By June 18th, you will have the opportunity to easily update your Aadhaar card if you're thinking about doing so.
The update process will be possible in both offline and online modes. You can finish your online updates by going to the "My Aadhaar Portal."
On the other hand, each update will cost 50 rupees if you decide to use offline updates. It is very important to keep in mind that all types of updates need to be finished by June 14th.
Changes to Driving Licenses:
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways recently announced new regulations for obtaining a driving license in India as of June 1.
Under these rules, not only the government RTOs but also private driving training centres can conduct driving tests. This means all necessary documentation for obtaining a license will be processed through these centres.
Moreover, the new rules also intend to minimise pollution by phasing out nearly 900,000 outdated government cars and implementing stronger car emission regulations.
If a minor gets caught driving, they will be fined ₹25,000. In addition, the vehicle owner's registration card will be cancelled, and the minor will be unable to obtain a license until they reach the age of 25.
Adjustments in LPG Cylinder Prices:
The pricing of LPG cylinders is reevaluated, and new rates are set on the first day of each month. Commercial cylinder prices dropped last month, causing many to predict even more reductions in the coming months.
Similarly, fluctuations in petrol and diesel prices are expected.
Bank Closures:
Starting in June of next month, all banks in the country will be closed for twelve days. This includes regional holidays, five Sundays, and two Saturdays. Other holidays include in June are Raja Sankranti and Eid-ul-Adha.
As a result, if you want to visit a bank next month, it is best to review the holiday schedule to prevent any trouble.
