Movable bio-toilets to be introduced by KMC

KMC (The Kolkata Municipal Corporation) has decided to launch transportable bio-toilets in the market areas of Kolkata and other crowded regions within its jurisdiction.A bio-toilet turns human waste into compostthat can then be used to improve soil for growing plants and crops by a biological method called composting. Apart from the culturing of compost, the ones to be equipped by the KMC would be movable, and so would also have the convenience of not needing permanent area. The bio-toilets would be a counterpart to the already-existing permanent toilets.
