Mallika Sherawat visited Kolkata to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga for The Bachelorette India

Do you know? Bollywood diva Mallika Sherawat celebrated Durga Puja in Kolkata this time. She managed to visit the city on Navami to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga for her upcoming show-The Bachelorette India. Actually, Mere Khayalon ki Mallika features male contestants who will attempt to woo the actress.
It was an unbelievable situation. As Mallika approached the pandal, the crowd there learnt about her presence. There was such a massive rush to have a glimpse of her, that she had to quit from the spot even before she could move out of her car for devi darshan.
According to sources, she was determined not to depart from the city without getting the devi's darshan. In fact, she requested the the production house to seek permission for her to visit the pandal.
Mallika was dressed in a splendid traditional Bengali laal paar saada sari and she could successfully offer her prayers at 2 am. In addition, she was spotted doing the dhunuchi naach as well as playing with the kids present there for a 15 minutes and conversed with them too.
It is also heard that during Dharamashala promotions, she played with a Tibetan kid in the middle of the shoot. No doubt, Mallika is taking the show very seriously and is preparing for the subsequent step
