Coriander: The most essential ingredient which we use to garnish our dish is Coriander. Without a hitch, you can grow the coriander leaves by buying some seeds from local nursery or online shopping. Spread the seeds by splitting it directly in the soil and pour some water. While planting coriander, maintaining the space among plants is crucial because it is a leafy plant. The most suitable temperature to grow coriander is a warm 25 degree Celsius. Extreme hot or cold is not an ideal temperature to grow this plant. Within a few weeks when the seeds have received ample amount of sunlight and water you can see the fresh coriander leaves grown up.

Fennel: Great things are worth waiting for. To grow fennel (Saunf), yield some soaked seeds in the warm soil in spring season. Soaked seeds are preferred as it assures high quality germination with plenty of sunlight and water, wait for few months and enjoy having fresh fennel.

Curry leaves: We love the taste of curry leaves especially in the South Indian cuisine, so if you adore it, then grow the plant in your balcony. It’s simple to get a small sapling of the plant or a seed for planting. The curry leaves plant can grow up to 3 to 5 feet. This plant requires well drained and little bit acidic soil. For better results put cow manure and river sand in the soil. Luckily, curry plant can hold up for years if handled with proper care.

Mint: Food turns out delicious if you have pudina chutney as a side dish. Growing a Mint plant is a child’s play. Purchase a baby plant, put it in a pot and let the water and sunlight do its work. Balancing the amount of water in the soil is essential. Soil should be moist and rich in composition. For a healthy growth, early morning bright sunlight as well as the mid-afternoon rays are needed. On a spur of moment you will have a glimpse of fresh mint leaves with its splendid aroma.

Spinach: To grow Spinach (palak saag), firstly lay the seeds on the soil and water the plant regularly. It is mandatory to have well drained soil with neutral pH less than 6.0. Compared to other season, winter is the best season for spinach growth. Gradually you notice the seeds germinate in 6-12 inches pot and you are ready to cook the home grown green, fresh and natural spinach in just 40-45 days.
