Juan Vincent Perez Mora, recognised as the world's oldest man, breathed his last at the age of 114 in his own home. His passing marks the end of an extraordinary life journey, defined by resilience and longevity.
Facing the challenges of advancing age for an extended period, Juan battled age-related ailments. Despite his declining health, he persevered until the very end, bidding farewell to his loved ones.
Back in 2022, Juan's remarkable longevity earned him a coveted spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest living man. This accolade came shortly after the demise of Saturnino de la Fuente Garcia from Spain, who passed away at the age of 112 years and 25 days.
Acknowledging his remarkable feat, Juan was officially recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records on February 4, 2022, when he was 112 years and 253 days old.
Born into a humble farming family in Venezuela, Juan embraced agricultural work from a young age. Despite eventually retiring from farming, he remained active and engaged in various activities throughout his life.
With 11 children and 41 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Juan's legacy extends beyond his own remarkable lifespan. His passing leaves a void in his family and community, with his memory cherished by all who knew him.
