Renowned music director Jeet Gannguli, known for his chart-topping Tollywood tracks, is set to captivate audiences once more, this time with a new musical venture. In the upcoming Hindi film ‘Manohar Pandey’, which is directed by Kaushik Ganguly, Gannguli will provide his musical sensation.
He revealed to the media that he has composed songs for the film, each carrying its own unique flavour and melody. Additionally, he said that in two songs from his composition in this movie, Bollywood playback sensation Kailash Kher has given his soulful voice. He also said that he has hope that audiences will love his new form of work like previous.
‘Manohar Pandey’ will tell the story of Kolkata's Hindi-speaking residents during the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing out their struggles and adaptability in the face of hardship. But will this be in movie form or as a series? It has not been officially announced.
The film's shooting started but has been put on hold. The reasons for the postponement are still unknown. Industry insiders, however, say that the shooting will start soon again.
