American worldwide employment-related search engine – Indeed has recently published a list of top workplaces in India. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has been featured among the top five workplaces in India along with SAP, Adobe, VMware, and Microsoft. German software company SAP has topped the list followed by Adobe, VMware, and Microsoft. SAP’s Senior Vice President and Head of SAP Labs India, Sindhu Gangadharan said, “We have created a non-hierarchical, diverse and inclusive culture which speeds up our innovation and helps our customers to run at their best”. ISRO stands at the fifth position in the list. A few E-commerce companies like Myntra, PayTM and Flipkart along with IT service providers Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Mphasis have also been featured on this list of top workplaces in India. The list has been prepared based on the user ratings and reviews. ISRO was placed tenth last year and this year the space research organisation has jumped five spots. Sashi Kumar, Managing Director of Indeed India said, “It is important for companies to work towards building an inclusive workplace and creating a culture of ownership and loyalty among their employees in order to increase overall productivity. Companies that go beyond strategic workplace programmes to create a conducive work environment have been seen to have a positive impact on the employee’s perception of the organization”.

- International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), a software innovation company.
- Flipkart, an online shopping platform.
