Artist Paritosh Sen is one such personality who is unfortunately no more amongst us, but will always remain in our fond memories. A group of 28 artists (National and International) have come together and put forth an effort for cordially arranging an Exhibition at the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery to pay a homage to the veteran artist. It was a gala event with most of the paintings being a representation of Artist Paritosh Sen’s persona, moods, work. Prominent artists like Bipin Goswami (India), Partha Pratim Deb (India), Debabrata Chakraborty (India), Samarjit Roy Chowdhury (Bangladesh), Valery Lanou (Belgium), and Romana Hosting (Austria) and many more have succeeded in creating an aura of absolute solace and pure artistry.
In the sculpture corner artists like Surajit Roy, Provat Majhi, Kaushik Halder, and Koushik Dhar have shown a brilliant work of imagination, dedication, and passion. The exhibition truly mesmerizes the soul and is a treat to the eyes.
