‘Mach’ and ‘Mangoes’ are things bengalees love. Can you imagine a recipe where mach and mango come together? Well, only bengalees can make this possible since they are the known as food lovers.
Here’s sharing an interesting recipe which includes chun o mach and aam.
All you need is:
1 Kacha aam (small mangos) cut length wise.
2 tablespoons of green chillies and black mustard paste.
1 chopped onion.
1/4th teaspoon kalojeera
3-4 green chilli, silted.
½ teaspoon turmeric power
½ teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
Mustard oil for cooking
Salt (according to taste)
Marinate the fish in salt and turmeric for 15 minutes.
Take a bowl and add the green chilli and mustard paste and dip the fish in the paste and fry in mustard oil.
Put more oil in the pan, let it burn a little then add kalojeera, chopped onion and the ‘kacha aam’ and fry it till the mangoes are soft.
Add turmeric, Kashmiri red chilli powder and salt as per taste.
Put water (depending on how much curry you want) and let it boil for 3-4minutes.
After 3-4miutes, take it down from the burner and serve it garnished with green chillies.
