The Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora along with the full bench of the commission is on a three-day visit to Bengal to review the preparations of Lok Sabha elections in the state. The team directly came to our state from Ranchi after inspecting the preparations there. The full team will hold a series of meetings with all the political parties of the state, nodal officers and central police force. The team will meet District Magistrates and Superintendent of Police of all the districts to discuss regarding the law and order preparations of the state during the elections. The full bench is also supposed to meet the chief secretary, the home secretary, director general of police (DGP) of the state. The bench will thereafter leave after holding a press conference.
