Director Nirmal Chakraborty Ventures Towards the Second Film After 'Datta', Actress Rituparna Is Confirmed

Director Nirmal Chakraborty, who previously helmed the successful adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's 'Datta,' is now setting his sights on a second cinematic venture. The film 'Datta' enjoyed remarkable success on the big screen, running for 100 days in theatres, and is now available for streaming on the Hoichoi web platform.

In a recent interview on Thursday, Nirmal Chakraborty revealed his aspirations for the upcoming project. He expressed his intention to collaborate with the literary world once again, highlighting the significance of this venture in Bengali cinema. The details of the upcoming film are still under wraps, but it is clear that Nirmal Chakraborty is keen to bring something unique to the audience.

Regarding the cast, Rituparna Sengupta, the accomplished actress, has already agreed to take on a pivotal role. Nirmal Chakraborty's enthusiasm for her involvement in the project is evident.
