'Devi Chowdhurani' Shoot Concludes With A Bang, Team Celebrates At Wrap-Up Party In Kolkata

After months of anticipation, the shooting for the highly anticipated film "Devi Chowdhurani" has finally wrapped up. Directed by Subhrajit Mitra, known for bringing Bengal's literary gems to the big screen, this time he's set to dazzle with Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay's classic, "Bandit Queen of Bengal."

To mark the end of filming, the entire "Devi Chowdhurani" team, along with Tollywood's brightest stars, gathered at an upscale restaurant in Kolkata for the raucous wrap-up party. Among the attendees were Prosenjit Chatterjee, Srabanti Chatterjee, Bibriti Chatterjee, Darshana Banik, Saurav Das, Oindrila Sen, Durnibar Saha, and many more. Videos of Srabanti dancing at the party have already gone viral on the internet, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.

Reflecting on her role as Devi Chowdhurani, Srabanti Chatterjee expressed her delight, sharing that it was a dream come true to portray a character she had long desired. Having started her acting journey with television serials based on Bengali novels in her childhood, Srabanti sees "Devi Chowdhurani" as the culmination of her growth as an actress.

Meanwhile, Prosenjit Chatterjee, who has essayed iconic characters throughout his career, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play challenging roles like Netaji, Antony Firingee, Lalon, and now Devi Chowdhurani. He believes that such roles not only enrich him as an actor but also leave a lasting impact on the audience.
