For the entire 2017, Darjiling is the only district which grabbed all sorts of attention. Due to some political issues, the area lost its popularity among the visitors for some days. Darjiling is in fact one the best suited place for most of the people at a very affordable budget. One can get the feel of the chilled weather with perfect Mountain View and the shopping malls around. It is visited by many foreigners every year especially during winters. But this year, the scenario was a bit different.
But Darjiling carnival brought a massive change on the face of Darjiling and Kalimpong. People started visiting the district once again with high hopes and merriment. But to sidestep this redundant trauma, West Bengal government has taken due initiatives and has premeditated to start positive and constructive campaigning from April so that the tourists feel safe and non-violent to visit Darjiling once again.
