A group of ministers and a committee of officers have been formed by the Government of West Bengal in order to monitor emergency situations during the CM’s visits other states or countries. The officials have been assigned to handle any kind of situation. The Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal will be visiting Frankfurt and Milan between September 16 and 28. Partha Chatterjee will lead the group of ministers and the committee of officers will be headed by the irrigation secretary, Naveen Prakash. According to a senior official, the chief minister always keeps a track of the progress in the state during her foreign tours but the groups have been formed to handle emergency situations like a flood.
