বাংলায় পড়ুন
When we think about Bengalis, the name that comes first in our mind is Kolkata. Kolkata is one of the cities where Maximum Population belongs to the bongs. I have spent three years of my life in Kolkata, which is very less, but in those three years only, I got a different attachment to that city, the season there, the fragrance there, the roads there, the people there, the dish there, the Durga worship there, everything out there was different.
When I came to Mumbai, everything out here was different. And then one day I called my friend. Both of us talked a lot and then he asked about the Bengalis in Bombay then the only thing I had to say was that there is no difference between the Bengalis out here or there, only the city is different. No matter where we go and what we become, we can never be detached from the place we belong, even in Bombay the Bengalis begin their day with tea, newspaper and rabindra music. When they feel hungry, the only thing they wish to eat is fish and rice not vada pav of mumbai. The Durga Puja over here is as much exciting as it is there in Bengal. And at last I would like to add a phrase to it that “you can take bengalees out of Bengal but you will never be able to take Bengal out of Bengalis.”
