Premendra Bikash Chaki’s ‘Love Marriage’ to hit the theatres soon!

Premendra Bikash Chaki’s latest film ‘Love Marriage’ is set to hit the theatres on April 14, coinciding with the Poila Baishak. The film has a strong cast, including the real-life couples Oindrila Sen and Ankush Hazra, who are capturing the audience's attention on screen as well. Veteran actors Ranjit Mallick and Aparajita Adhya are a part of this film, with Mallick playing the role of Ankush's father and Adhya portraying Oindrila's mother.

The story and dialogues of the film are penned by Padmanabha Dasgupta. In the film, Ankush and Oindrila are in love and want to get married, but the groom's father, played by Ranjit Mallick, is not in favour of a love marriage. He sets conditions for his son's marriage, which includes finding a daughter-in-law who can take care of the house, family, and his grandmother. To convince Mallick, Ankush and Oindrila come up with a plan to make their marriage look like an arranged one, leading to a twist in the story. Sohag Sen plays the role of Ankush's grandmother while Debnath Chatterjee is seen as his uncle.

The film was shot during the pandemic, and the release was delayed due to the unfavourable circumstances. The trailer has been released, and the film is finally coming to the big screen after a long wait. Emon Chakraborty has composed the music for the film. With the star-studded cast and an interesting storyline, ‘Love Marriage’ is set to hit the theatres on April 14!
