Catch Dona Ganguly exclusively on Jiyo Bangla’s exclusive segment ‘Jiyo Adda’

Dona Ganguly, the noted Odissi dancer started taking dance lessons from Amala Shankar when she was just 3 years old. Later she shifted to Odissi under the guidance of Guru Giridhari Nayek. Following that, Dona met Kelucharan Mohapatra and started taking dancing lessons from him. She currently has her own dance troupe ‘Diksha Manjari’ which is held in high regards in the dance fraternity, especially when it comes to Odissi. 

‘Diksha Manjari’ performs in shows held in India and abroad and has received huge appreciation from audiences across the globe. Recently Dona Ganguly’s ‘Diksha Manjari’ took part in Vasant Utsav celebrations that took place at the Indian Museum.

Celebrated dancer Dona Ganguly recently spoke to Jiyo Bangla and shared the story of her journey, Diksha Manjari’s journey and about the Vasant Utsav celebrations scheduled to take place at the Indian Museum.
