You don’t need a Silver Fork to Eat Good Food, Just Visit KOLKATA

Kolkata is famous for a lot of reasons starting from the iconic Howrah Bridge to the beautiful architecture that the city holds, but street food in Kolkata has absolutely no match. It is believed to be a traditional Bengali culture to offer one a plate of sweets even if you ask just for a glass of water. One’s experience in Kolkata and its street food will surely be cherished.

Kolkata’s  famous street foods include jhalmuri, telebhaja, singhara, ghoti groom, puchka and variety of kachuris which is almost available at every corner but there are some specific places which will satisfy your tastebuds to its roots like Kalika Mukhorochok situated in College Street for telebhajas (deep fried snacks) is a must try. People, who never miss the sunrise, should definitely visit the Tiretti Bazaar for some amazing authentic Chinese cuisines.

For stomach filling needs, the city has kathi rolls and mughlai parathas. Now being a proud parent to the world famous roshogullas one cannot afford to miss the sweets that the city has to offer. To start with, we have Balaram Mullick and Radharaman Mullick famous for their baked roshogollas, the city has more of such names to give everyone a sweet kick experience of a lifetime. That’s not all; the city shows its true inclusive culture by incorporating chowmein, momos and thupka along with pav bhaji, chole bhature and of course who can forget to add the amazing doodh cola from Balwant Singh to our list of must-tries for everyone.
