When You Achieve Big, Contribute to the Society

Education is one of the most important things in life that helps shape who we become as a person when we grow up. Education is just not the academic lesson we learn inside 4 walls of a classroom but how we come to react in certain situations based on the morality and ethics that all of follow. However, academic lessons we learn inside a classroom is equally important for one’s career choices and jobs they take up in future. Every child dreams of becoming someone or opting some profession that they have come to adore, be it a doctor or an engineer or something out of the box entirely.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) results came out on Saturday, resulting in, Soham Mistri topping the 2019 examination. A resident of Durgapur, Soham have been looking forward for cracking the Joint Entrance Examination Advance so he could easily start pursuing his goal to research in Computer Science. He wishes to complete his graduation from IIT Bombay at first and then to go overseas to Massachusetts Institute of Technology for his postgraduation course.  

According to reports, on asking his father Pankaj Mistri, about his son’s top scores, he mentioned, every year new student’s cross several academic hurdles to score big, but not all are remembered. He also said, one needs to take a step forward to do something for the society, that would be an important achievement, and hopes his son understands this and moves forward with the same purpose to contribute. He passed his 12th CBSE board examination with 98% marks from Hem Sheela Model School, Durgapur and was congratulated by West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, along with other topper through her official Twitter account
