When reel meets real!

“Just women’ shuts the door firmly on any idea or intention to have a conversation about equality”- once stated by Liberian peace activist Leymah Gbowee

Speaking about International Women's Day this day is dedicated to women only, but for the respect they need to work hard. To celebrated the day with enormous pride Roop Production and Entertainment created an event for those women from different walks of life. The colours of caste or religion, colour or races, identity all these colours at a given platform. Roop Production and Entertainment & team ‘Guldasta – Golpo eki Muhurto Onek’ honoured and celebrated the real woman from real world.

 The women who were present:

Antara Das (Elocutionist, Tv anchor)

Chandana Marandi (Footballer)

Shaoli Majumder (Owner of Mahul Band and Pastel Entertainment)

Jharna Saha (Housewife)

Riya Mondal (Saleswoman)

Chandrima Bhattacharya (Singer)

Anandarupa Chakraborty (Actress)

Aditri Chowdhury (Tran woman)

Dolly Dutta (Animal Lovers)

How the term “just women”, is used to “underrate and undervalue the work of women” and downplay their significance ‘on a daily basis’, these statement show be eradicated. 8th March, won’t be just International Women’s day instead it should be ‘Day for every woman’.
