The metropolis of Nepal

Have you ever been to Pokhara? This is one of the largest cities in Nepal and a metropolis now. The Seti Gandaki flows through the city and the tributaries and the distributaries form beautiful views of the canyons and the gorges. Pokhara has by now become one of the very popular tourist spot as this is widely accessible from West Bengal.

How to reach: Travel till Kathmandu and from there you can hire taxis or avail buses to reach Pokhara. The journey is approximately about 6 to 7 hours. You can also avail flight from Kathmandu airport to Pokhara Airport. No visa is required for Pokhara.

Where to stay: There are many luxury hotels and lodges to stay and enjoy the nearby scenery. You can visit Pokhara at any point of time in the year. Mouthwatering local foods are available in almost all the hotels and restaurants.
