Super effective ways to reduce body heat during summer months

Excessive body heat is commonly referred to as “Heat stress”. A common cause of excess body heat is when our bodies are exposed to high temperatures for long durations unsuitable for the human body.
There are different ways to deal with your body heat and some of the methods are listed below.

  • Higher consumption of cold water - Water has the potential to cool down the body. One can consume or dip his/her feet in a bucket of cold water to keep the body temperature in check.
  • Tender coconut water - Having tender coconut has multiple benefits. Firstly, it is a water-based drink. Secondly, it is rich in minerals and vitamins that are crucial in cooling down the body.
  • Peppermint - As we are aware, mint or pudina leaves have a cooling effect. It is a spice that can be added to any drink, to produce the desired cooling effect.
  • Pomegranate juice- It can be mixed with almond oil and had on a daily basis. It is an excellent remedy to control body temperature and can be consumed by all age groups.
  • Vitamin C rich foods - it is a great cure for internal and external heat. Oranges, lemons, grapefruits, etc should be consumed daily during the hot months.
