Good news for the parents. Babies born in the Government hospitals, which fall under Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation area about to get some special treats. The new-borns will get a kit comprising of a mosquito net, antiseptic lotion, baby powder, oil, soap, and two towels and the mothers will get a health drink.
These supplies are the ‘Welcome Kit’ for new-borns by the authorities of the municipalities. The motto to gift these products to the parents is to build health awareness among the families. The Mayor-in-council hopes that the kits will help parents give attention to the health of their newborns.
