Remember Sourav Ganguly's Famous Shirt Wave At Lord's?

July 13, 2002. A date to remember, when the Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly waved his shirt with joy as India scraped past England to clinch the Natwest Trophy.

Till date, it is one of the most iconic and proud moments in the Indian cricket history but things were not the same for Sourav Ganguly a.k.a Dada.  Don’t you ever wonder what’s the story behind the incident? 16 years later Ganguly decides to come clean. It was basically in response to Andrew Flintoff's gesture when England drew the ODI series.

Ganguly himself revealed that he regretted his actions. He said "Everybody says that it's the most iconic moment. But I wouldn't do it again. My daughter sees it asks why did you do that and I say because I was happy. I came from a very conservative and shy Bengali family. It just happened in the heat of the moment."
