Then comes the man of action himself, Sylvester Stallone. This power house of a man showed us the spirit of never giving up in the ‘Rocky’ series, in real life too he adheres to the same principle. After his gargantuan success with the first four Rambo movies, Stallone is all set to come up the fifth instalment of the franchise…
The Rambo franchise, were the kind of films, that redefined the definition of ‘men’, it also single-handedly re-invented the action genre in the 80’s. Rambo is an ‘All guts, guns and gore’ character, who finds a way to demolish the bad guys, no matter what the odds are!
Rambo: First Blood features the story of a Vietnam vet coming back home, and how he is immediately rejected by the people in authority. When pushed hard, this troubled Vietnam vet, wreaks havoc on a local town!
Rambo: First Blood part II, Stallone reprises his role as the feared, one-man cavalry. In the second instalment John Rambo is sent to Burma for a mission to rescue American POWs. Rambo falls in love with a Burmese rebel, when she is killed off by the Burmese militants, Rambo seeks his revenge by annihilating the entire Burmese stronghold.
Rambo III, set in the background of the Cold war, in the third instalment, a retired John Rambo lives his life in exile as “His war is over”. But the fire is rekindled, when Rambo discovers that his mentor, Col. John Trautman is kidnapped by the Russian military in Afghanistan. John Rambo then does the unthinkable, take on the Russian army SINGLE-HANDEDLY!!

A recent upload of the Rocky star, in his official Instagram account, reaffirmed the speculation about the fifth Rambo movie…
