Filmmaker Sandip Ray is about to start shooting for his upcoming mega-budget adventure- science fiction film “Professor Shaonku O El Dorado” in May. The Film is based on the story of ‘Nakur Baba O El Dorado’ written by Satyajit Ray.
As per reports, the first phase of the shooting is likely to begin in Bolpur, followed by Deoghar, and then in the city. Pre-production for the film has already been completed and the director has insisted the production section (SVF) to not delay the project any further. Right after the first schedule, the whole team will fly to Brazil so that they can finish the rest of the outdoor shoot.
This is the first time Trilokeshwar Shonku, popularly known as Professor Shonku will hit the silver screen. It has been rumoured that the veteran actor Dhritiman Chatterjee will play the title role to the eccentric scientist and inventor. “This would be a multilingual film. If this venture is successful, I would love to make the next film out of ‘EkShringoAbhijan’, where Shonku goes to Tibet, looking for a Unicorn,” Ray said. The movie is expected to release this year.
