In sync with its ongoing initiatives to engage global leaders to catalyse its member community to be sensitive about the business challenges for the future, the Merchant Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), on Friday organised a seminar, themed ‘Corporate Challenges in the Age of Technological Disruptions: Strategic Do's and Dont's’ which was addressed by reputed global strategist Prof.Partha S Ghosh.

Prof.Ghosh, former partner of McKinsey & Company and advisor with multiple organisations worldwide, is an innovator of business and economic models. He is currently a faculty resource with MIT & Harvard University on strategic management /policy design and leadership, and Tufts University on Globalization & Innovation. “In the era for knowledge intensity and increasing complexity, corporates have to look at future with an open mind. Business leaders of today will have to be ready to even disturb one’s own model, to defend its enterprises to defend against disruptive innovations. To be able to sustain itself, one has to organise oneself in a world of global disruptions, as a blend of finetuning local and global perspectives,” Prof.Ghosh said.


Vice chancellor of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Dr Saikat Maitra talked about the academic processes to be initiated to make the next generation ready to face emerging business challenges.
