Mug My Cake!!

Who doesn’t like cakes? Especially when it’s chocolate! Nevertheless, baking a drool-worthy cake takes talent and patience, which I, unfortunately, do not possess. So, for folks like me, I’ve mastered the art of baking mug cakes, which are easy peasy and tasty. First, we need a few ingredients (obviously) which are:

1 egg

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons neutral oil

3 tablespoons flour

1/4 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

3 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

small splash vanilla extract

pinch of salt

1 microwave safe mug

Second, comes the process: - Stir the egg, milk and oil in your mug. Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips until the batter is smooth and then add vanilla. Put your mug in the microwave for 2 minutes. The cake will rise above the mug, so place a plate underneath. Have it straight from the mug, or take it on a plate. Sprinkle with icing sugar, if desired.
