Little things Season 2 takes viewers on another journey of love and life

Netflix brought out Season 2 of Little Things starring Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal, and needless to say the popularity of the show hasn’t gone down. The storyline is very similar to Season 1- a young couple, struggling to adjust to an independent yet unpredictable life and trying to maintain a relationship in spite of all the struggles. Director Ruchir Arun has also blended in elements of society struggles and norms and also reversal of roles in the live-in relationship.

The plot mainly revolves around Dhruv deciding to quit his job, which makes Kavya the sole breadwinner in the house and additionally gives rise to unforeseen and rampant arguments and rash decisions. Arun takes the viewers through a rollercoaster of frequently-changing emotions where one minute they are irritable and the next minute they feel guilty. Compared to season 1, this season is considerably gloomier with lesser share of happy moments between the couple.

Since the entire series revolves around a millennia’s day-to-day life and his struggles, a major part of the show’s success is attributed to how the characters bring this out. Palkar and Sehgal have a complete command over the roles they depict, and have made the show more relatable with their unscripted dialogues and body language.

Little things Season 2 is probably a little darker in terms of emotions, but still teaches us to deal with insecurities, minor problems and love in 21st century.
