Kolkata Police now joins the troll bandwagon

Ever since the Aamir Khan multi-starrer “Thugs of Hindostan” released on November 8, it is being mercilessly trolled by all fronts. Barring very few people, the film has received exceptionally harsh criticisms. Most film critics and viewers have been highly critical of the film and have given a very negative review.

Joining the bandwagon, Mumbai Police too trolled the movie on Twitter. Not willing to be left behind and wanting to join the fun trend, their Kolkata counterparts also tweeted about the movie. This tweet was very scathing indeed. However, in a confusing twist, the Kolkata Police deleted the tweet immediately after posting it! Nobody knows why! But technology is too fast and so are Indians. Many took screenshots of the same and have ensured that it kept on circulating.

The sarcastic tweet referred to Thugs of Hindostan as a bad experience, but assured people that they will never have such a bad experience with the Kolkata Police department. It was an epic burn, but the mystery surrounding why the tweet was deleted may go unsolved. However, people seem to have had their share of the fun. Meanwhile, the box office collections for Day 4 of the movie saw a sharp downward spiral.
