Indian Backstreet Boys are coming back with a bang

In an era, when boy bands were just found in the California hills, five boys belonging to different parts of the country came together to form ‘A Band of Boys’. Gifting us hits like Aa Bhi jaa, Gori and Nain Katari, they got the much-deserved spotlight in just a few days of their unveiling. They skyrocketed to fame with their very first album, Yeh Bhi Woh Bhi. The five members and founders- Karan Oberoi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sherrin Varghese, Siddharth Haldipur and Chintoo Bhosale, became overnight superstars. They also tried to make a mark in the film industry with a movie titled ‘Kis Kis Ko’, which unfortunately didn’t fare well at the box office. Due to internal conflicts and personal ambitions, ‘A Band of Boys’ kept falling apart gradually.

However, according to recent reports, the boys are reuniting again to gift us the early millennium vibes in their melodious voices. “The band will be unveiling the first song of their upcoming album during a live performance, which will be held on 11th June in Mumbai. The yet-to-be-revealed track is the recreation of one of their original songs, and is expected to be the next party anthem,” the co-producer of the Lable go Live Talent and Record, Varkey Patany, said to IANS. The song is titled ‘Yuhin jalne ko’ and will feature Samiksha Bhatnagar and Sneha Namanandi.  No wonder, fans and millennials are going crazy on social media and the anticipations are fuelling high. Individually, all the members have made a mark in the music and television industry, but the expected nostalgia they would bring back together is undeniable.
