HS 2020’s schedule out

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has recently announced the schedule for the higher secondary examination 2020. The examination will start from March 12 (Thursday) and continue till March 27 (Friday). The schedule has also been published in the WBCHSE’s website. The examination will commence from 10 am each day and get over at 1:15 pm. The first day of the examination, March 12 will be on the first languages. A WBCHSE official said, “An additional 15 minutes were initially allotted for the students to go through the questions. But now students can start writing at 10 am”. The practical examinations of the laboratory-based subjects will be taken much before the theory exams and will continue from December 2 to December 24, 2019. The council generally announces the dates of the next year’s examination on the day of the results of the current year itself, however, they could not fix the schedule since the state secondary education board did not declare the Madhyamik 2020 schedule by then. The Higher Secondary examination conducted by WBCHSE is scheduled only after the Madhyamik exam ends and the examination dates are fixed after consulting with the state administrators.
