As May approaches, anticipation mounts for the upcoming release of 'Dabaru,' the much-awaited Bengali biopic directed by Pathikrit Basu. The unveiling of the film's first poster this Wednesday has only heightened excitement among fans.

Scheduled to hit theatres next month, 'Dabaru' narrates the inspiring journey of Grandmaster Surya Sekhar Ganguly, portrayed by actor Arghya Basu Roy. Set against the backdrop of post-independence Kolkata, the film delves into the triumphs and struggles of a chess prodigy who rises from a middle-class family to become a celebrated figure in the chess world.

The poster introduces us to key characters, including Dipankar Dey, Chiranjit Chakraborty, Rituparna Sengupta, and Samadarshi Sarkar, who bring the narrative to life with their compelling performances.
