Do you know the ‘new norms’ set by the council of HS examination?

Nearly 53,000 more students appeared this year, compared to last year’s numbers for the 2018 HS examination on 27th March which is scheduled to end on 11th April 2018.

The President of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination, Mahua Das, said: “This year the registered examinees is 8, 26,029, which is almost 6.5% increase over the previous year.”

There will be only 1 paper on each day of the examination which will go on from 10 a.m. till 1.15 p.m.

This year, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination (WBSC) has set a few parameters for students appearing for the exams, non-compliance of which may lead to cancellation of exams.

The dos and don’ts for the students taking the HS exams are:

  1. Candidates can’t carry their cell phones, and are not allowed to damage school property;
  2. Candidates are not allowed to cheat or misbehave with invigilators;
  3. No students are allowed to leave the examination hall without submitting the entire set of their answer scripts.

A helping desk and control room has set up for the examinees, teachers, students, and parents to seek any kind of information regarding the exams.

The helping desk can be contacted at the toll-free number- 18001039341.

We wish all the HS students Best of Luck!
