Reportedly, Arijit Singh got entangled in a repulsive spat that involved a journalist in the Behrampore ACJM court premises on Friday.
The singer is a resident of Jiaganj, Murshidabad, who went to the court in relation with a domestic case. In a series of incidents, Arijit struck a cameraman following the latter declined to halt shooting him. After a complaint lodged by the cameraman, later Arijit was arrested from his home. Further, he was released on bail.
Further, interestingly Arijit declared that he absolutely did not hit anybody. Of course, he lost his temper when, even after repeated requests, the journalist continued to roll the camera. He had his helmet with which he struck the camera, but not the photographer.
When interrogated, if he went to the court in connection to his divorce with Koel Singh, he denied by disclosing that it had nothing to do with him. In fact, he was there to testify for a companion. As he is a known face, reporters began inspecting the case which he thinks isn't fair. Anyway, he spoke to the journalist later and sorted it out at a personal level. He stressed that such incidents keep happening. He added that in another month, one might see him and the same journalist laughing the entire issue off.
In lines with his profession, Arijit is busy with Happy New Year and Mishawr Rahasya. Apart from that, he is going to complete his own feature film titled Bhalobashar Rojnamcha shortly. In addition, the singer declared that he recently got a call from AR Rahman, who has requested to meet him to discuss a project.
