CM Mamata Banerjee tweeted on Newborn Care Week

The first touch of a newborn is one of the most precious moments of our life. The thrill of amazement begins the moment they are born. It brings a smile on our face which never want to fade away.

Newborn Care week is celebrated annually in our nation from 15th November to 21st November with the motive to raise awareness about the importance of the newborn care for child survival. West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted at the very start of the newborn care week that, “Newborn Care Week begins today. In the last 7 years, we have set up 307 Sick Newborn Stabilisation Units (SNSU) in Bangla. Numbers of Sick Neonatal Care Units (SNCU) have gone up from 6 to 68. Our state has the largest number of Sick Critical Care Newborn Beds & units in India”. We all hope for the betterment of this situation and that people will be more careful.
