‘Bhagshesh’- an emotional tale of a stepmother

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word, “stepmother”? Evil? Wicked? Mean? Isn’t it?  More people know stepmothers as portrayed in fairy tales. It is extremely hard to get a break when you start off in a tough space.

Being a stepmother to her husband’s children has its own special challenges, not just a single day but throughout her life. It becomes extremely complicated when there is more than one female in the family who wants the attention of the same man. Not to mention the tension built between mothers, stepmothers, and daughters is something inexplicable. These facts are true. They are the harsh reality that many of the ladies face. This film is all about motherhood, relationships and most importantly friendship.
